For one night only, we’re transforming an art deco lounge in San Francisco into a hidden world of intrigue and celebration. Expect a carefully curated crowd of founders, investors, and friends; immersive entertainment; and a few magical surprises you won’t want to miss.

So much has changed since we began.

What started as an experiment to help a handful of founders has grown into a global practice supporting a thriving community of entrepreneurs, investors, and operators.

What was once a rogue idea—that being a startup CEO is a craft to be mastered—is now firmly in the zeitgeist. Our modest firm has grown in so many ways, and we are humbled by the quality of our partners and the remarkable success of our founders.

Over the past few years, we’ve routinely asked our founders how we might add even more value to their lives. Time and again, the answer has been the same: a desire for more community. Founders want to meet founders. The ask was clear: since our firm excels at curating kind, brilliant, and competent humans, could we create opportunities to bring them together?

In response, we’ve hosted intimate gatherings in San Francisco, Tel Aviv, Lisbon, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York.

Now, as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, we’re bringing together our network of founders to celebrate ETW-style: a party you won't forget.

What is Enjoy the Retreat?

Three days and two nights in Napa Valley with founders, investors, and operators who have been through it all. No greenrooms, no endless panels. Just real conversations, practical workshops, and a little controlled (and entertaining) chaos.

We'll start the mornings with yoga, hikes, and space to reset. We've built the days around founder-led discussions, hands-on sessions, and unfiltered stories about what it actually takes to build and scale. One (very special) keynote. No fluff.

Then the sun goes down. Shared meals turn into firepit debates. The music starts. DJs, unexpected moments, and a few things we're not putting on the website.

This is not a conference. It’s a chance to get out of your usual rhythm and spend time with people who know the weight and the joy of company building.

Our Venue

Huttopia Wine Country sits on the 4,300-acre Six Sigma Ranch and Winery in Northern California. It’s not a hotel, not a conference center, and not business as usual.

Each guest has a private glamping tent—real bed, fresh linens, kitchenette, private bathroom. It’s camping without the discomfort, a place to reset with just enough structure to make things easy.

The property includes a central lodge with Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, hiking and biking trails, and plenty of space to unplug. Expect dirt, trees, and starlit skies. Shared meals, firepit conversations, and room to think.

Days are unhurried, with quiet corners to work or wander. Nights settle in with lantern-lit paths, music drifting through the trees, and a sky full of stars. It’s beautiful, rustic, and built for the kind of gathering where conversations stretch long into the night.

General Questions

❓ Is there parking at the venue?
The venue is on Broadway Street in North Beach with limited street parking. Portsmouth Square Garage is nearby the venue and open until 12am. Otherwise, we would recommend using a rideshare or public transportation.

❓ Will there be space to store backpacks or luggage?
Yes, coat check will be available upon check in while you attend the party.

Registration & Ticketing

❓ How do I confirm my attendance?
You can secure your spot by completing your registration on the registration page of this website. Space is limited, so we encourage early registration to guarantee your attendance.

❓ Can I transfer my ticket if I can’t attend?
Tickets are non-transferable without prior approval. We also understand that things come up in the startup world. If you run into a conflict after registering, please contact your friendly, Enjoy The Work partner.

❓ Can I bring a guest?
Attendance is exclusive to invitees, but if you'd like to bring a business partner or you believe there is someone we have overlooked, please reach out to confirm availability.
